macOS choices for a late trading day
The American session opens in the evening at UTC+5 and closes in the small hours locally. A Mac that stays on the desk overnight is a case for the installed terminal, which keeps chart templates, indicators and automated strategies in one place and runs them without a browser tab having to stay open. Automation is a desktop matter in any case: it does not run in a browser.
A laptop that closes at the end of the evening, or one used by more than one person, points the other way. The browser platform starts on any Mac, needs no administrator rights, and returns to the account after a restart with nothing to reinstall.
Neither choice is permanent and neither affects the account itself. Positions opened through one route are visible in the other, and the trading history and open orders belong to the account rather than to the software in front of it.
